Here is the third of the set of doggy portraits. She's all finished and has been given the seal of approval by her owner so now I am on the last of the four - a golden girl called Barley. She's already taking shape and just needs a few more hours to get the fur on her neck looking right. Watch this space for progress updates!

I'm delighted to say that I sold a picture this morning within about 30 minutes of hanging it on the gallery wall. This is it - Scotney Castle in Kent - done in coloured pencils from a photo that I took when I went there last year. It was nice to be there when it was sold and meet the nice couple who bought it. Hopefully the next two weeks of the Art Group Exhibition will continue to go well. Our art group are getting ready for their Annual Summer Exhibition at Denbies Wine Estate near Dorking in Surrey. I'm busy getting my pictures ready for hanging and a few unframed ones wrapped and ready for the browser. The exhibition starts on Monday 13th August and runs for two weeks. If you are in the area or fancy a trip out come and see the exhibition. Denbies has alot to offer including a lovely gift shop and good food to say nothing of the chance to sample and buy some very good English grown wine. The exhibition is in the gallery on the first floor and there will be people there all the time manning the information table and also happy to take your money if you see something you would like to buy.
