I was given the opportunity to exhibit with a local group called Last Minute Artists at a pop up 2 day exhibition in the Crypt Gallery, Seaford last weekend. I had a nice corner section of the gallery with a table nearby so that when I was stewarding I could sit and draw at the same time. Much to my delight I sold two paintings. one was a coloured pencil picture of a lighthouse called 'Light against Dark' and the other was a mixed media picture of the Cerinthes in my garden which I put on here a while ago. Excuse the poor picture but it was taken on a phone in poor light. This was always one of my favourite coloured pencil pictures but now it is sold and is hopefully hanging on someone else's wall.

I think this is one of my favorite pieces of your work. My parents spent their final years on a peninsula here in Ontario called Presquile and lived a 5 minute walk from the light house. It was a magical place and every time I dipped my hand in the water I felt a connection to all other lighthouses that for me are symbols of kindness and hope.
